The Waitarere Beach Progressive & Ratepayers Association (WBPR) is committed to fostering a strong, vibrant, and connected community. Our goal is to work collaboratively with residents, local authorities, and stakeholders to enhance the quality of life in Waitarere Beach for both residents and visitors.

Our Objectives

• Strengthening Community Connections – Promoting positive relationships between the Association and the wider community.
• Enhancing Our Environment – Partnering with the Horowhenua District Council and Horizons Regional Council on projects that beautify and improve our surroundings.
• Encouraging Growth & Tourism – Supporting initiatives that attract visitors and contribute to the local economy.
• Advocating for Residents – Ensuring the interests of ratepayers and residents are represented in key decisions.

Get Involved

Meetings: Held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM at the Waitarere Community Rooms, 136 Rua Ave.
Open to the Community: Residents are welcome to attend. To speak at a meeting, financial members should contact the Secretary in advance.
